5.7K 360° Video, 4K Single-Lens Mode
Dual 360° lenses on the X3 can capture up to 5.7K video and 72MP photos with ease. You can switch to single-lens shooting and record 4K video at up to 30 fps. For extremely wide-angle 170° shots, turn on MaxView mode with 2.7K resolution.
Audio Algorithm Updates
The X3 can capture stereo audio with reduced wind noise and 360° enhancement. Using four built-in microphones and an upgraded audio algorithm, the X3 records more natural and balanced audio than its predecessor. It also allows you to use Voice Control 2.0 to switch your settings when your camera is mounted out of reach on a selfie stick or head strap.
AI-Powered Reframing
AI reframing tools automatically reframe your shot in 360° while you toggle between different capture modes. “Me” Mode creates the effect of an invisible selfie stick and films video up to 1080p at 30 and 60 fps. The effect creates the equivalent of 5.7K reframing and supports 16:9 and 9:16 aspect ratios. This AI interface eliminates the need to reframe your footage in post while capturing aerial angles and third-person perspectives, no matter the selfie stick configuration.
Ultrasmooth, Stabilized Footage
The X3 ensures your footage remains stabilized thanks to its 6-axis gyroscope and FlowState Stabilization technology. 360° active HDR mode is specifically designed for action sports like ziplining and mountain biking by keeping your video stable as you move while maintaining details in the highlights and shadows for more vibrant footage. Horizon lock keeps the horizontal plane of your video consistent and allows the camera to rotate freely while keeping the sky-line level.
New Recording Modes
  • Shoot up to 8K 360° timelapse and 4K resolution slow-motion bullet time video at 120 fps.
  • Pre-recording mode helps anticipate the action before it happens by beginning a recording 15 to 30 seconds before the shutter is pressed. This ensures you capture the exact moment you reel in the big fish of the day or surf the best wave. When enabled, the camera records audio and video continuously for the interval of your choice, but it only saves to your SD card when the shutter is pressed.
  • Loop recording continuously records video while simultaneously saving every minute of recording into separate files. This saves memory card space and can turn the X3 into a dashcam.
Upgraded Controls and Monitoring
  • A larger 2.29″ touchscreen on the back of the camera provides a clear view of your footage as you shoot it. Four operating buttons with vibration feedback toggle between shooting modes for quick control.
  • 50% faster Wi-Fi and upgraded Bluetooth 5.0 technology provide faster file transfers compared to the previous model for faster editing with the iOS/Android app.
AI Editing and Photo Animator
Using the Insta360 app with your smartphone, you can easily edit clips for social media with new effects and modes. A regularly updated database of creative effects provides easy-to-use templates like Nose Mode, Sky Swap, and Street Lapse. Have the app turn your 360° photos into animated videos with the Photo Animator using AI facial recognition and preset effects.

Your first step before renting any product from our portal is – to get verified. As renting is a complex business model and involves certain risks, we take additional measures to keep this platform safe for our loyal customers and us. Hence, we rent out the products to the verified customers only.

Getting verified is as simple as 1..2…3. Sign-up on the website first, you will see messages at different places of the website saying “Get verified to place orders”. Provided with a link to a form, fill out some basic questionnaire and submit proofs such as Adhaar Card or Driver’s license. Once the form is filled out, our team will check the details and will verify your account.

Please be informed, your account may not be verified if we do not find your details valid or for any reason. If your account is verified, you are now approved and allowed to place rental orders.

Allow us up to 8 hours to verify your details and update the status. 

When reserving an item for a hard deadline (wedding, vacation, large production shoot), we recommend you give yourself a buffer by requesting the gear to arrive 1-3 days before the day you actually need it. Some packages may get delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, and we don’t want you to be stuck without the gear you need.

If the item reaches after the rental start date. You will only be charged from the day the item is delivered to you. 90% of the time, our customers received the items on time or before time. If the item reaches you before time, we do not charge any extra. 

After placing your rental order. Make a note of few things for each other’s safety.

  • On the day of delivery, make yourself available to receive the item from our courier partner.
  • Check the contents and do not forget to save the serial number of the item you have received. Once the rental period ends, we verify the item serial number to avoid fake returns.
  • After the item is delivered, make sure to inspect the rental item, take as many pictures as you can for safety and do not forget to report us within 12 hours of delivery time if you notice any discrepancies within 12 Hours.
  • Make full use of the item – so plan it accordingly.

During the time of rentals, use the item fairly. Do not abuse the rental product and tamper the condition of it in any way. Help us in making this rental marketplace an essential source for everyone who cannot afford costly gear. We assume the item is treated as your own gear and protect it in all means. If for any reason, the item is damaged – be honest with us to avoid additional consequences. Please be aware, the renter takes responsibility of the item until it safely reaches back to us.

If you wish to extend your gear rental. You can do so by contact us and we’ll be glad to help. If there are no other customers waiting in line for your item, we will be happy to extend your rental.  Please note that in terms of billing, extensions are treated as if they were new orders- the rate will be less expensive for a 2 week rental than it would be for two 1-week rentals.

If your rental term is expiring, please make sure to clean the item and take pictures before sending the item back to us. Use the same package we shipped to you and attach the shipping label that was provided. Make sure the item is safely packed.

Our courier partner will call you during the returning day to pickup the item. Make sure the item is picked up.

We’re always happy to help narrow down your choices or point you in the right direction. Our staff is available for emails and calls from 10am to 6pm Monday-Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sundays. Please keep in mind that we cannot anticipate every situation, preferred style, or equipment combination due to the limitless possibilities. It is best to do your own research so that you can ensure that you make the right decision for your event. If you order the wrong item or do not understand how to use the gear, we will try to help you find a solution but we cannot offer you a full refund.
